after working on setting up this blog for a few weeks (i've been busy and have had little time to actually work on this), TIGERBLOG is now up ☆

i really don't know how to name things, can you tell? but whatever, i'm happy with this for now.

i guess i'll introduce myself a little bit for this first post!

hi! my name is joss! i live in california! i am a 20+ year old illustrator and i run a shop where i make stickers and other cute things! i like stickers and pompompurin and hoshi from kpop! but more importantly: i have two cats!

i decided to start a blog after randomly crossing across someone's naver blog. they posted photos and wrote about all the little things in their everyday life, and it just seemed so quaint. i wanted to try something like that too, especially since my social media presence has been super lacking lately (which would be fine if my business didn't rely on it (╯︵╰,) haha). i do mean to improve and post more often on my socials, but still, i wanted this blog so i can go more in depth than whatever i post on my story or whatever. i want to write about my week, about what things i'm working on, about things that don't matter, about whatever i want!

of course, to do this i could've gone to a blogging site -- there's plenty, like blogger, wordpress, livejournal (do people still use it?), or something more straight-forward like bearblog. but i wanted something that i could customize however i wanted, so i made something from scratch and decided to host it on neocities! i'm a beginner with any type of code, so i do apologize for any errors you might spot;; i'm learning!

right now what i have in mind is to make this a personal blog, where i post weekly! i might post more or less depending on how busy on am, or how much i may or may not have to say. who knows, really!
